It feels like you’re deep in the woods, far from the city, but you’re really just a short drive away.

Where the Trail Begins


Mat’s Campground isn’t just for camping—it’s also the jump-off point for our nature hiking trail. The trail’s a moderate challenge, with uphill and downhill slopes, and no paved paths—just you, the trees, and the raw beauty of nature.

We take forest camping to the next level—literally! Our elevated platform setup offers a private and peaceful escape. Each tent is perched on its own spacious platform, thoughtfully placed far apart to give you the seclusion and tranquility you deserve.

Campground Rules

Check-in / Check-out Time

  • Check-in: 2:00 PM

  • Check out: 12:00 PM

Smoking Policy

  • Strictly NO SMOKING within the campground. Guests may use the resort's designated smoking area.

Trash Disposal

  • Take out what you bring in. Guests must properly dispose of trash and follow trash segregation guidelines.

Pets

  • Pets are allowed, provided they:

    • Do not make noise.

    • Are cleaned up after by their owners.

    • Are not left unattended.

    • Pets of all sizes are allowed in rental tents provided they will not tear up the equipment.

Noise Control

  • Be mindful of noise to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests. Playing loud music is not allowed.

  • Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

Lights Policy

  • Campground lights off at 9:00 PM. The bathroom’s outside light will remain on for convenience.

Alcohol Consumption

  • Alcoholic drinks are permitted, but excessive drinking is strongly discouraged.

Respect Nature

  • Enjoy the natural surroundings, but refrain from picking leaves or flowers. Please respect nature.

  • Do not disturb the soil, trees, or any natural features. Help preserve the environment for future guests.

Natural Environment

  • Be cautious of natural insects and pests as you are camping in a natural environment.

Respect Fellow Campers

  • Disorderly or destructive behavior will not be tolerated.

Common Area Use

  • The common area is available for all campers to use.

  • Grill stations and picnic tables are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not allowed.

Food Guidelines

  • Guests bringing in food are encouraged to dine at the common area to minimize pests.

  • Do not leave food on the ground to prevent ants and other insects.

Cleanliness of Facilities

  • Keep campground facilities clean at all times.

Rental Equipment

  • Guests must take care of all rental equipment. Any damages will be assessed and billed accordingly.
